Scott did such a wonderful job on design and construction that we were showed and named as the 4th best backyard in the nation by HGTV. He listened to our explanation of the design we wanted and nailed on on the first design with no changes. I am a homebuilder, so my understanding and expectations are probably much higher than most. He was the only contractor with the knowledge to read the soils report and design the structure to withstand the highly expansive soil conditions we had. When we did have an issue with a retaining wall, due to the people above us continuously over-saturating the soil, he did the repair at no cost. This was not expected or required by standards of the contractors board. Comparing the price to the product, we received exceptional value.

The front and back yards of this Calabasas home showcases some of Scott’s finest landscape design work. The front yard has a grand staircase, flanked with lush plantings. The courtyard at the top of the stairs features flagstone flooring and a fire pit and sitting area. The large backyard showcases a swimming pool, outdoor sitting room, outdoor kitchen, outdoor shower, and in the farthest corner of the yard, a “smoking pavilion” with fireplace for the cigar aficionado owners.
