When we decided to tackle the landscape of our property we knew it would be a big project and we demanded the best. We interviewed a few prominent landscape companies.
Scott Cohen, artisan and president of The Green Scene quickly set himself apart. His approach was different from all the others. In his first interview with us he took the time to get to know us. He has a unique lifestyle questionnaire which he uses to get to know his clients and their style so he can develop a personalized project.
Subsequently we were presented with more than one design for our project. Once the contract was signed and permits obtained, the work began. We had a specific crew assigned to our project, who showed up on a daily basis wearing company logo shirts and conducting themselves properly throughout the project.
The office staff were always pleasant and professional also. Scott himself had regular field visits and kept close contact with us through the process. He was able to address all our concerns and modify the plan when needed. He used his extensive knowledge and expertise not only to meet our demands but also to help us to avoid technical mistakes and unnecessary expenses.
In the end Scott Cohen and his team were able to deliver a stunning landscape project which surpassed our expectations which we will enjoy for many years to come.
I had Green Scene company with its president Scott Cohen do my landscape for my property about 3 years ago. It was a new house on more than 1 acre of land in one of the most prestigious area in the valley. After extensive research I could not trust anyone else with the project. From the beginning of the project and to the end, Scott and his crew showed unsurpassed professionalism and craftsmanship. Scott was involved in every step of the project. He has vast knowledge of all aspects of the landscape process from type of soil up to color of tiles and stone. He is also a cost oriented and he tailors the project to the owner's needs. The Green Scene built for me a masterpiece of landscape which has been source of admiration from everyone who got to see it and reviewed in design and landscape magazines. It is for us to enjoy for many years to come. Scott and his company should be your choice if you have a small remodel job or the most comprehensive project.
Scott Cohen and The Green Scene transformed this bare Calabasas yard, creating a vanishing edge award winning pool and spa flanked by fire bowls and water features, a covered custom fireplace with seating area and cast concrete faux wood bridge leading to it, covered outdoor kitchen with cast in place concrete counter with a dining room, and a gorgeous front entryway.
